I'm Thumbody -elementary school program to help children have high self esteem

Mental Notes Newsletter - quarterly newsletter for members only

Social Security Payee Program - designed to assist mental health consumers in managing their finances

Speaker's Bureau - on mental health issues

Reading Across Tuscaloosa - program designed to read to students in our local elementary schools. Following group reading times will be discussions about behavior in and out of the classroom. This program will begin spring 2004.

Celebration of the Arts & Minds - program designed to break the stigma associated with a mental illness. The Celebration highlights successful artists, musicians, authors and composers that fault a mental illness during their lifetime.

Problem Solving Skills Video Production - The MHA will be offering drama videos to local elementary schools Fall 2004. These videos will demonstrate non-appropriate and appropriate responses to various circumstances children encounter.
